Part Time Assistant Needed for UPWARD’s Child Care Program

UPWARD is seeking qualified applicants for a part time position (25 - 30 hours per week) as an assistant in our Child Care Program beginning ASAP!

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Communicate and work with staff to promote a quality program
Supervise children at all times
Communicate and interact with children throughout all activities
Provide a clean, organized and safe environment
Adhere to state licensing guidelines
Assist with feeding as needed
Diapering

Qualifications: High School diploma or GED, experience working with children.

Requirements: A valid fingerprint clearance card, CPR, First Aid. If you do not hold these certifications, UPWARD will provide training.

Physical Therapy Position Opening

UPWARD for children and families is looking for a PT to work with us on a contract basis. The majority of the work would be in our pediatric outpatient therapy clinic located at 6306 N. 7th Street in central Phoenix. Our clients are ages birth through 16 and seen once a week in the clinic for a 50 minute session. In addition, you would be working in our school program with students that are severely disabled/medically fragile. Time to work in the school would be built into your schedule. You would be working with a great team of therapists (physical, occupational, speech/language and music) as well as special education teachers.
