Part Time Receptionist Opening

UPWARD for children and families is seeking a part time front office receptionist. This person checks in clients and interacts with clients and therapists, supplies information regarding the organization’s programs and services to the general public, program participants, and volunteers. This person handles inquiries on the phone and face-to-face interactions with the public and program participants.  Other functions include general administrative and clerical support; other duties as needed.

Hours and Compensation: MON 12:00 – 6:30; TUES 1:00 – 7:30; WED & THURS 1:00 – 6:30; FRI 10:00 – 3:00; $10 per hour

Requirements: Bilingual Spanish, reliable & punctual, computer literate, detail oriented, highly organized, fast learner, strong work ethic

Physical Therapy Position Opening

UPWARD for children and families is looking for a PT to work with us on a contract basis. The majority of the work would be in our pediatric outpatient therapy clinic located at 6306 N. 7th Street in central Phoenix. Our clients are ages birth through 16 and seen once a week in the clinic for a 50 minute session. In addition, you would be working in our school program with students that are severely disabled/medically fragile. Time to work in the school would be built into your schedule. You would be working with a great team of therapists (physical, occupational, speech/language and music) as well as special education teachers.
